What we collect

The parent registration form: your name, email and phone number, and for each child their name, date of birth, gender and level in chess.

The checkout page: the plan you chose, your name, email, phone number, the student's name, and any note you write.

The coaching application: the professional details an applicant gives, and their CV if they attach one.

When a student uses the platform's exercises: their answers, the result and how long it took.

With every submission we record the IP address and browser, to protect the forms from automated abuse and nothing else.

Why we collect it

To contact you, arrange lesson times, follow the student's progress, and complete the subscription you asked for.

We use it for nothing else, and we neither sell nor rent it to anybody.

Who sees it

The academy's own team.

Student records and subscriptions are held in the academy's management system (SmoothERP), the provider the academy runs its business on.

No payment is taken on this website. When online payment is activated, it will happen on the payment gateway's own page, and your card details will never pass through our servers.

We use the Meta Pixel to measure advertising. You can switch it off from your browser's privacy settings or with a tracking blocker.

How long we keep it

Student and parent records are kept while the family studies with the academy, and afterwards for as long as accounting records require.

Coaching applications are kept so the academy knows who it has already seen, and are deleted on the applicant's request.

Your rights

You may ask at any time to see your data, correct it, or have it deleted, and to withdraw your consent to being contacted.

Children

A child's details on this site are entered by their parent, never collected from the child.

No child's details are shown to anyone but the academy's team and that child's parent.
