Chess is not time taken away from study. It is daily practice of exactly the skills a child needs in the classroom, in the exam hall, and well beyond both.

Before moving, they ask: and then what? Thinking one step further stops being an effort and becomes a habit.

The clock runs, the opponent presses. They learn to make a good decision while under stress — the single most useful exam-day skill there is.

FAQ
The questions we get asked most
My child cannot play chess at all — is that okay?
That is the best moment to start. The Juniors and Beginner programs begin from the very first thing: the names of the pieces and how they move. Nothing is assumed.
Are lessons online or on site?
All lessons are live online with the coach, and the student plays on a digital board on screen. All you need is a laptop or tablet and a decent connection.
What age should we start?
From age 5. Younger students join Juniors; from 8 upward they join Beginner. We also run adult groups — age is not a barrier.
How do I know my child is actually improving?
Every student has a level assessment plus a regular report to the parent covering attendance, skills covered, assessment results and coach notes. Progress is measured here, not felt.
What happens in the free lesson?
A full assessment session with a coach: they play with the student, measure the level, and tell you where to start and what the plan is. No obligation afterwards.
What if the student misses a session?
We make it up at an alternative time as long as we are told in advance. An unannounced absence is deducted from the session balance.
